Dakota Alano Society

After spending a year struggling with my sobriety, I found the Little White House. It was there I found men and women just like me.

I attend three or four meetings a week, and have a cell phone filled with a hundred people I can call when I need help. I no longer struggle to stay sober, but rather I am working to become the Son, the Dad and the Man I have always wanted to become.

Next Board Meeting:
Sunday, May 20th at 6:00 PM.

What is next?

The Annual Picnic is scheduled for July 29 at
Blackhawk Park in Eagan. Watch for
signs posted in the kitchen regarding the
picnic organization committee.

We still need pledging members. Watch for an
article in the newsletter about the "building fund"
everyone asks about.

What We Do

The Dakota Alano Society, Inc was founded in 1978 to serve the needs of men and women who are recovering from the effects of alcohol and drug abuse. As an Alano society, Dakota Alano provides space for Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon and Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA) meetings, and hosts at least one group every day of the week. If you are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, or suffering because a loved one is addicted we have a meeting that can help you.  See our meeting schedule for a list of available meetings, times, and types. Open meetings are available to anyone; closed meetings are available only to those actively pursuing that particular program (AA, Al-Anon, or ACOA).
